Commissioning and new installations Technician – Commissioning Engineer CS
The role
Ensuring that our projects are properly commissioned/installed and operating in accordance with standards (ISO, NBN-21-100, quality procedures, etc.).
Main activities and tasks
Responsible for commissioning fire detection installations from A to Z and for the associated materials and accessories.
Installation of detection equipment and associated wiring work for small installations.
In collaboration with the project manager, preparing commissioning.
Applying the rules on site.
Carrying out work tasks in accordance with safety rules.
Test wiring/connections.
Checking connection boards and related accessories.
Adjusting and setting DEF products.
Programming different types of DEF standards.
Drawing up fire scenarios and converting them into programmes.
Checking that the installation is working properly.
Attend statutory inspections.
Providing basic training to customers or users.
Follow-up and correct plans, diagrams and “as-built” documentation.
Ensure high-quality commissioning, in line with current internal ISO procedures and DEF instructions, and in compliance with existing standards NBN S21 100.
To provide a work report, including the customer’s signature, for each job and submit it to the project manager.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
You have a degree in electronics, electromechanics or electricity.
You are able to use a PC: Pack Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
You have a good command of basic measurement skills using a multimeter (current, voltage, resistance), analytical measurements (battery life, calculation of impedance lines, etc.) and you are able to think logically in order to isolate errors.
You are communicative, customer-oriented and precise.
